Hewy, in brief.
The app icon, the wrens and a few words about Hewy, free to use when you write about it.
About Hewy
In one line: Hewy runs AI coding agents, Claude, Codex and OpenCode, on your own servers, and lets you check in and approve their work from your Mac, iPhone or Android.
In a paragraph: Most coding agents need a laptop left open or run in someone else's cloud. Hewy runs them on the servers you already have, with your Claude or ChatGPT plan or your own API keys, and keeps them going while you get on with your day. When an agent wants to run a command, your phone asks, and your answer is signed with your device's key. When one agent won't do the work, you can switch the chat to another and carry on. Around that, Hewy is a full SSH client: terminals, files, port forwarding, a VPN through your own servers, and keys synced with end-to-end encryption. Every chat gets a little pixel wren in its server's color that moves while the agent works, so you can tell what's running at a glance.
Platforms: Mac, iPhone and Android, with a small daemon on Linux, macOS or Windows servers. Price: US$9.99 a month or US$99 a year, after a 14-day free trial. Made by: Last Mountain Wireless Inc., in Canada.
The app icon
The pixel wren in Hewy's green. Please use it as is: no cropping, recoloring or smoothing. Scale it by whole numbers so its pixels stay square.
The wrens
Each chat in Hewy has a wren: its body takes the server's color, and each chat picks its own look. It moves while its agent works, holds up a “!” when it needs you, and naps when its server is away. You can see a few of them on the home page.
